Release Date: May 2012
Case Production: 520 Cases
2007 TERRACE SELECT
DRY CREEK VALLEY
Tasting Notes: Hand selected each year from the terraced hillside vineyard just south of the winery. The grapes are hand picked and carefully sorted, then fermented 21 days in a small open top tank with manual punch downs every five hours. After fermentation they are pressed lightly into new French oak barrels.
This was an exceptional growing season producing no less than an exceptional wine. It was very difficult to wait patiently for five years to release. Definitely worth waiting for, this classic Cabernet is stunningly complex. The rich luscious fruit, tantalizing aromas and powerfully finessed tannins fulfill the senses in every way. Balanced at its heart, it will make good use of its structure for long term cellaring. A serious wine for serious wine lovers!
